O QUE É O PROJETO?

O projeto de leitura dos 2º anos A, B e C da Emef Almirante Tamandaré intitulado “VIAGEM PELO MUNDO LITERÁRIO” foi desenvolvido para favorecer, envolver e estimular o processo ensino aprendizagem da leitura e

escrita dos alunos, contribuindo para a formação de cidadãos críticos e participativos que adquiram competência para opinar e expressar suas ideias, obtendo melhor interação na sociedade.

QUANDO FOI CRIADO?

Foi criado no primeiro bimestre do ano letivo de 2024.

QUEM CRIOU?

As professoras dos 2ºs anos A, B e C.

QUANTAS CRIANÇAS PARTICIPAM?

Todas as crianças dos segundos anos, cerca de 90 crianças.

QUAL A IDADE DAS CRIANÇAS?

Entre 7 e 8 anos.

COMO O PROJETO FUNCIONA NA PRÁTICA?

• Leitura deleite feita pelo professor no início de cada aula, onde busca-se estimular os alunos a imaginarem como será esse momento a cada nova aula;

• Estabelecimento do “dia da leitura” que ocorre uma vez por semana. Os alunos escolhem um livro, levam para casa e

leem com sua família e depois compartilham a experiência com a turma;

• Confecção de murais durante o bimestre sobre o projeto; Separação de livros na sala de leitura, sob a supervisão de

uma professora, no acervo na biblioteca com livre escolho pelos alunos para o cantinho da leitura em sala de aula;

• Piquenique literário com horário de lanche estendido, com a leitura dos livros escolhidos pelos alunos;

• Bingo literário, com premiação de livrinhos para os alunos;

• Desenhos feitos pelos alunos a partir da leitura feita em sala e expostos no mural da sala ou escola;

• Relatos dos pais de como tem sido os resultados dessa dinâmica;

• Interação dos alunos fazendo a leitura de livros e textos para os alunos de outras salas;

• Criação de novas estórias pelos alunos a partir daquelas lidas, baseadas em mudanças criativas de contexto. Por

exemplo, na estória “O sapo que não lava o pé”, o aluno pode criar uma versão, por exemplo, com um sapo que lava

o pé, elaborando novos textos, desenhos e até mesmo uma

capa para a estória;

• Carimbo em um passaporte simbólico do aluno, como leitor e escritor nessa viagem literária.

QUAL O INTÚITO DO PROJETO?

Incentivar os alunos a criarem um momento diário de leitura como uma “viagem literária”

divertida e interativa.

Buscando despertar um hábito prazeroso pela leitura literária, com envolvimento da escola como um todo e dos pais, que participam e veem os resultados no desenvolvimento e aprendizagem dos alunos.

“Journey Through the Literacy World Project”

The reading project for the three 2nd-grade classes of EMEF* Almirante Tamandaré (*Municipal Elementary and Middle school).

WHAT IS THE PROJECT?

The project was established for the three 2nd-grade classes of EMEF* Almirante Tamandaré (*Municipal Elementary and Middle school), entitled “JOURNEY THROUGH THE LITERACY WORLD." It was developed to promote, involve, and stimulate the teaching/learning process of reading and writing among students.

This literacy journey contributes to raising a generation of critical and engaged citizens who acquire the ability to give opinions and express their ideas, achieving better interactions in society.

WHEN WAS IT CREATED?

It was created in the first quarter of the 2024 Brazilian school year.

WHO CREATED IT?

The teachers of the 2nd grade.

HOW MANY CHILDREN PARTICIPATE?

All the children in all three second-grade classes, around 90.

HOW OLD ARE THE CHILDREN?

Between 7 and 8 years old.

HOW DOES THE PROJECT WORK?

• Reading done by the teacher at the beginning of each class, when the goal is to encourage the students to imagine what this moment will be like in each class.

• Establishment of a “reading day” that occurs once a week. Students choose a book, take it home, read it with their families, and then share the experience with the class.

• Murals about the project are created during the two months.

• Selection of books from the library collection with free choice by students, under the supervision of a teacher, to be placed and used in the reading corner in the classroom.

• Literacy picnic with extended snack time, with reading of books chosen by students;

• Literacy bingo game, with prizes of short story books for students.

• Drawings made by students based on the reading done in class and displayed in the classroom or the school hall.

• Reports from parents on the results of this interactive activity.

• Interaction of students by reading books and texts to students from other classes.

• Creation of new stories by students based on those read, placing creative changes to the context. For example, in the story “The frog that doesn’t wash his feet”, the student can create a version with a frog that washes his feet, creating new texts, drawings. and even a cover for the story.

• A “Visa” Stamp is posted on a symbolic student passport, as a reader and writer on this literary journey.

WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME?

It encouraged students to create a daily reading moment as a fun

and interactive “literacy journey.”

The project awakened a pleasurable habit of reading with the

involvement of the school, and parents who participated, and saw

the results in the learning and development of their children.
